My
Verdict:
This lipcolor feels like cupcake frosting.
It applies smoothly and have excellent, even pigmentation. They do last a long time;
the trick is after applying the lipcolor you'd have to wait for a minute or two
to let it "dry" or “set” like the Loreal Infallible lipstick. By
doing so it would definitely stay on longer. When you brush your finger against
your lips, you don't get to transfer much as you would have if you didn’t let
it “set” in.
Colorstay
doesn't feel drying at all. Although it doesn't feel drying, it looks drying
because it has this matte-like finish. But I think the dried-out look depends
on the color because lighter shades more often look drying.
The
finish of this lipstick is satin-ny/velvety. It does look a bit matte, but I
noticed there are some pretty fine sparkles in it especially in Soft Nude.
It has a very subtle fragrance, it smells
kind of like cake frosting actually, but you won’t really notice the smell
unless you really tried smelling it.
And there’s no yucky chemically taste I've
had from other products, so points for that.
I don't
like the packaging much though, I mean its nice to actually see the color
unlike looking at the bottom twist part with color coded stickers, its OFTEN
inaccurate right? The problem with the packaging is when it's been used a dozen
times it just looks like a boring old nub of lipstick that isn't particularly
elegant to look at.
