My friends know that I am very meticulous when it comes to skincare. Growing up feeling ko I probably helped the beauty industry na magboom kasi mahilig ako mag hoard ng kung ano anong eme na later on marerealize ko hindi ko naman kailangan or worse, di pala ko hiyang. But I'm a changed person, HAHA, now I only buy what really works for me. So what do I consider before buying?
1. Look for negative reviews. By read, I mean I read a lot of reviews. Mga 30 reviews yung minimum ko. No shit. Pag kulang yung product review sa mismong site, mag gugoogle ako ng in depth reviews. When reading reviews I look for negative ones. Kung may nagpurge, nagkaron ng acne or someone developed milia (tiny bumps) dahil sa product, cancel agad di ako bibili. Any negative reaction sa product di na ko bibili. BUT if out of all the positive reviews the only negative review I read is hindi effective yung product. Bibili ako kasi okay ng di effective kaysa may adverse reaction.
2. Listen to friends who have sensitive skin. What works for people with sensitive skin doesn't automatically mean that it will work for us, it might or it might not, but what's important is sure na walang negative reaction kasi ginagamit nila.
3. I don't look at the price. Hindi ibig sabihin na dedma ako sa pagbili ng mahal, yaman yarn? 😂 What I mean is people often fall for the trap of believing a product will be good because it's expensive. There are products na mahal pero chaps. Many high end companies use cheap ingredients for their products
4. Don't fall for great advertising. Para lang yang mga manliligaw na ke gagaling sa umpisa. Wag kang mafo-fall agad. In connection sa products na expensive sa taas, I believe na kaya nila binibenta ng mahal products nila it's to cover their expenses for advertising. Tapos chaps naman yung product.
5. WAG MANIWALA SA IDOL NYO. Alaga yan ni Belo or kung sinong derma for sure. Hahaha.
